I hired Charlie to DJ my wedding and he also took care of up lighting and dance floor lighting. I chose him for many reasons, but one of the main ones was that his packages included unlimited time of his DJ service, which somewhat reduced the cost of my long 9-hour wedding. Charlie took care of all of our needs and he definitely knows what he’s doing. He played all the songs we wanted to hear and kept everyone happy and dancing! I definitely recommend him to anyone who’s looking for an experienced and reasonably priced disc jockey.

DJ Charlie was the DJ at my wedding in December 2012. Having met with five different DJs, I picked DJ Charlie simply because he was very attentive and seemed to be the best qualified person for the job. During our meetings, Instead of trying to sell his services and telling us how good he was, he tried to help us with planning our wedding by clearly answering all of our questions and giving us the information we needed. We ended up with the “Red Diamond” package, which included all of his services and for many guests our wedding turned out to be the most luxurious one they’ve even seen. We had a pianist for our ceremony, a jazz trio for our cocktail hour, and a DJ, an MC and a saxophonist for our reception – all provided by DJ Charlie. I can’t think of anything I didn’t like and I can’t stress enough how happy I, my husband and all of our guests were with his services. Some of my friends have already asked me for his phone number and all I can say at this point is keep up the good work, Charlie!

I did business with DJ Charlie twice. He was my wedding DJ and MC in September and very recently he was hired to provide up lighting and dance floor lighting at my brother’s birthday party. The only reason he wasn’t a DJ there is because it was on a short notice and Charlie had already been booked. My family, my coworkers and my friends were very happy both times. Charlie knows what he’s doing and he is more than just a DJ. He knows how to work with all kinds of people to make them happy and avoid any possible conflicts or misunderstandings. He is also an excellent MC and at our wedding he made sure everyone knew what was happening or was about to happen and when. I’ve never seen so many people pleased with the music and dancing for so long as it was at our wedding. All of Charlie’s lights look really good; otherwise, we wouldn’t have rented them again. I’m very happy I finally found a DJ who gives his advice but always listens to me and who I can trust. Charlie was just hired to be a DJ at my friend’s wedding next summer.

We had Charlie DJ my wedding in September of 2012, and without a doubt I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in having a DJ at their wedding. He is a genuine and hard working person, and his DJing abilities are quite impressive. Having been involved in at least 8-10 weddings in which a DJ was the primary source of music, I can honestly say that Charlie's work is second-to-none. That alone is enough reason to hire his services, and when you combine this with his extreme flexibility, excellent MC skills, ability to read the wedding crowd and take care of your requests, your decision should be very easy. DJ Charlie can really read the crowd and knows how to start & keep the fun going. The most important thing to me, though, is that he knew that it was our day and he made sure every little thing was just how we wanted it. Charlie took extra care to get all the complete information, proper names with correct pronunciation and what songs were on the “Definitely play” list, and what songs were on the “Do not play no matter how many people ask for it” list. He also made sure to provide all the songs we wanted. We are very grateful for the job Charlie did, but even more, for the way he did it.

Charlie Walkrich was the DJ at my wedding in August, and he was *excellent*! My husband and I wanted some music that is outside the norm for typical weddings (i.e. hard rock). Charlie was able to blend in our favorites while still pleasing the entire crowd. He really took our musical tastes into account. We had asked for an extremely out-of-the ordinary song to be introduced to, and even though he didn't have it in his musical collection, he was able to get it for the wedding. We also had a few songs on our "don't play" list, and he stood firm on not playing them even with many requests (and even with a proposed $20 bribe from my sister!!). We had many compliments on how great the DJ was, and how well the music fit the tastes and personalities of me and my husband. Thank you, Charlie!!!

Tony and I just got married on June 28th and Charlie was our DJ. I can't tell you how many people came up to us and said how much fun they had. EVERYONE was dancing, young and old alike! Some DJs can be intrusive and "try to be funny" during weddings, but Charlie was a perfect gentleman who was very laid back and could really read the crowd. Charlie played classical for our ceremony, then our own selection for cocktail hour, then Frank Sinatra style music for dinner hour, and finally great dance music afterwards. He kept our limited amount of activities on track (i.e. cake cutting, and bride/groom introduction) and I would highly recommend him for your wedding as well:-)

DJ charlie was hired to do my wedding ceremony and reception, and he definitely exceeded my expectations. He was incredibly professional, flexible, reliable, well-dressed, and spoke very well on the microphone to make announcements, introductions, etc. The dance floor was packed all night long and everyone said he was the best DJ they had ever heard.
